Catch-all for a fault that is not listed or not yet diagnosed (no power, no picture, stuck on the PSX logo, will not record or read discs). The tech opens and tests the unit, finds the cause and quotes the fix before doing it. If a shop charges a diagnostic fee, it is a price option here.
