Swaps the PSX's internal hard drive for microSD storage on an IDE adapter (for example Phenom Mod's ATA Express) and reinstalls the system software onto it, so a unit with a dead or failing drive boots again. Support depends on the model generation; first-generation units (DESR-5000, 5100, 7000, 7100) are the common case.
