Open the battery door or bottom plate and swap the battery pack. On 500-800 series the pack can be a like-for-like NiMH, iRobot's xLife extended-life NiMH, or on listed 600/800 models and the 900 series an iRobot 1800 or 3300 mAh lithium-ion pack; e, i, j and s series take their own lithium packs.
