SEGA Genesis Nomad

The Sega Genesis Nomad, released in 1995, was a handheld version of the Sega Genesis that played full-size Genesis cartridges without adapters. It featured a 3.25-inch color backlit LCD, a built-in controller, and a TV output for home play. The Nomad offered true portable 16-bit gaming but was limited by its high battery consumption, requiring six AA batteries for only a few hours of gameplay.
