Shell Replacement

Refresh your original Game Boy Advance (AGB-001) with a new shell. This is a mail-in service for your console; a console is not included. Introductory price: $39 including a standard-color replacement shell, installation and testing. Shipping is separate.

INCLUDED

Careful disassembly, cleaning during the transfer, installation of a compatible shell and battery cover, reassembly, and button and screen testing. Existing buttons, membranes, screen and lens are reused when compatible and serviceable.

CHOOSE A COMPATIBLE SHELL

Please send front and back photos, your preferred color, and details of any screen upgrades before ordering. The shell must match your installed display. FunnyPlaying laminated shells require a compatible laminated screen and are not a direct replacement for every original or IPS V2 setup. I will confirm a suitable shell and available colors with you. Specialty or printed shells, a new screen, lens, buttons or membranes require a separate quote.

Choosing the laminated IPS M2 package? Shell installation is already included in that package, so you do not need to order this service as well.

TURNAROUND

Target completion is within one week after your console and all required parts are on hand and the work is agreed. Parts ordering and shipping add time; I will communicate any delay.

PHOTO EXAMPLES

Photos show completed builds as color and finish examples. Screen upgrades, buttons, LEDs, games, cartridges and display stands shown are not included in this shell service. Available shell colors and compatibility will be confirmed before work begins.
