The Gameboy color was many 90's kid's first handheld. A huge hit for Nintendo, but now these consoles are aging and need a bit of a tune up. RetroRevive's Gameboy color service will get your old childhood friend back and better than ever.
Here's how it works:
Choose your options:
Don't know what to pick? Most working consoles just need the "Console Refresh" option, which replaces all commonly failing components. But maybe you want something a little more custom. We've got you covered there too. Look over the options, and if you have any questions, send us an email!
Diagnostics:
Does your console not work anymore? The diagnostics option gives your console a thorough investigation to find out whatever the problem may be. sometimes the diagnostics cost is enough to cover most small issues, but in more severe cases we will contact you with details and an updated cost before proceeding.
Console Refresh:
Replaces the capacitors inside the console.
Battery Contact Replacement:
Replaces the battery contacts if corroded
Replacement power board:
Replaces the power board with a modern equivalent.
Highly Recommended for adding any screen or speaker mods. Without this the mods may not work as well.
Rechargable battery:
Installs a Li-ion Battery
Charges through the old DC port
IPS Screen Mod:
Installs a backlit color screen into your console with additional features
